Roles and responsibilities
Flexiana acts as a data controller and is jointly responsible with platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn for certain processing activities.
Information we collect
We gather your name (including title); email address; the pages you visited on our website, the features you used and how long you spent with us; and additional technical data.
How we use your data
Processing occurs under three legal bases: consent, legitimate interests, and legal obligations. Marketing communications require explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Data sharing
We share information with service providers, legal authorities when required, group companies, and social-media platforms for targeted advertising.
Retention
Customer data is retained for three years after the relationship ends. Prospective-customer information for eighteen months, with exceptions for legal claims.
Your rights
You can request data access, correction, or deletion, or object to processing, by contacting dataprotection@flexiana.cz, or file a complaint with the Czech regulatory authorities.
Cookies
We distinguish between necessary cookies (always enabled) and optional categories (analytics, functional, advertisement, targeting) that require your consent.
What this website does
The policy above is the company-wide one. This particular site is deliberately plain, and you can verify all of it from your browser's network tab:
- No analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising scripts. The site sets no cookies of its own.
- No third-party requests at all. Every font and asset is served from this domain, including the typeface, which we self-host instead of loading from Google.
- The self-check tools on /tools run entirely in your browser. What you type into them stays in your browser, and none of it is stored.
- The contact, newsletter and book-order forms send what you type to us by email, and record the submission so we can answer it. The record holds what you typed: your name, your email address, your company if you gave one, your message and whether you asked for marketing, or for a book order your shipping address, country and the number of copies. Alongside it sits the time, whether the email got through, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. Those last two are kept to rate-limit abuse and to recognise the double-click that would otherwise reach us as two enquiries. An IP address is personal data, so it is named here instead of left implied. Nothing on this server deletes those records on a schedule, so the retention periods above are applied by people and not by a job.
This is a faithful port of our previous policy. If you need a verbatim, legally final version, contact dataprotection@flexiana.cz.
